Luxury self-catered accommodation in the heart of a 300 year old inn.

Welcome to The Hermit Hideout, a cosy home from home above the historic Hermit Inn.

Nestled in the Yorkshire countryside with spectacular views of the Wharfe Valley,  the Hideout offers a master bedroom with a superking bed; a second bedroom with two double beds; a fully equipped modern kitchen with dining table and a separate living room with TV.

The apartment is a spacious self-catered retreat for couples or can comfortably accommodate 4 people, it can sleep 6 at a push (as long as you are happy sharing double beds in the second bedroom).

The Hideout is perfect for those wishing to explore the surrounding countryside and ideal for local families who might need extra space for visiting friends or family. Or perhaps you just want to spoil yourself with a meal out and not have to worry about the drive home at the end of the night.

We are doggy friendly too!

About The Hideout

Check in and check out

Check in is from 2pm. Check out is by 10.30am. If you are arriving late and the pub is closed please use the door to the back of the building. Please be extra vigilant and use the mirrors to check for on coming traffic before walking on the road to the back of the pub. We strongly recommend that when the pub is open you walk through the building to access the Hideout.

So The Hideout is in the middle of the pub?

Yes, the entrance to the Hideout shares a small staff staircase. Whilst we try our hardest to keep this area in tip top condition, it is a busy thoroughfare and may give you a false impression of what lies behind the door to the flat. We hope you will be pleasantly surprised!

The pub does not play music and last orders are at 11pm.  Chatter from below will sometimes be audible during busy times.

Pub cleaners and kitchen staff arrive around 8.30am in the morning. They won’t be too loud but don’t be alarmed if you hear them.

The pub is open 12 noon- 11pm (10pm on Sundays).

Can it sleep more than 4 guests?

The Hideout is equipped with one superking bed and two additional double beds in the second bedroom. If your party is happy to share double beds then you are welcome to have a maximum of 6 guests in The Hideout.

Is it Bed and Breakfast?

The Hideout is fully self-catered, so breakfast is not included.

Do I need a reservation if eating in the pub?

We recommend pre booking to avoid disappointment. Once staying with us, if you wish to remain in the flat to eat, our pub food can be delivered upstairs to you. Just call or pop downstairs to speak to our friendly team.
