Christmas at The Hermit

This Christmas our festive menu is à la carte, giving you are your guests the ability to choose exactly the food you love.

For starters; we have included our homemade parsnip and chestnut soup, whilst the oak roast salmon pâté and the deep fried brie are sure to be festive favourites.

For mains can we recommend the turkey ballotine; turkey breast with apple chestnut sausage stuffing, creamy mash, Brussel sprouts and cranberry sauce or the incredible Salmon en Croute, a golden latticework of pastry with a perfectly cooked piece of salmon inside, served with steamed greens and a chive cream sauce.

Plus because it is à la carte we will have all the usual Hermit stables including smash burger, hand stretched pizzas and of course our legendary homemade pies.
