Back for one week only

It was an incredible Christmas at The Hermit. The pub has never been busier, the beer was flowing and the Peacock Indian street-food takeover was a huge success. But there is only so much curry your insides can take, so from Wednesday January 5th, our brigade of chefs are back with artisan sandwiches, homemade soups, small plates and hand stretched pizza through to Sunday January 9th.

Then from Monday 10th January, The Hermit will be closing for a 2 week period of upgrades to some of the more boring parts of the building (roof, walls, electricity supply). During this time the chefs will be experimenting with new and exciting dishes and to pop on the menu when we reopen the doors on the 24th January.

So head up this week for your last chance to grab some of our incredible soups, maybe a baked camembert or a legendary Hermit pizza. The diet can start on the 10th!
