Gourmet Fish and Chips!
We started with wood fired sourdough pizza from our very own outdoor oven, then we moved on to Wagyu beef from Shoot the Bull and now we bring you that pub classic, although with a twist, Fish and Chips!
Starting Wednesday 6th October Solita will be bringing their gourmet fish and chip van (a shiny custom Airstream!) to the Hermit pop up spot.
This time we have a full on culinary collaboration. As well as their standard fish and chip fare, Ed has worked with Solita to create ‘Nettlethrasher Fish and Chips’, that’s right, beer battered fish and chips made with batter prepared on site using none other than Ed’s favourite ale; Nettlethrasher from Elland Brewery.
What’s more, we’ll have a vegan friendly beer on at the time too, meaning that vegetarians can enjoy the somewhat tongue twisting ‘beer battered banana blossom’.
If fish is not your thing, we will also have battered Wagyu sausages and of course chips, mushy peas and curry sauce.
Solita will be serving Wednesday 6th to Sunday 31st October, from 12 noon to 8pm.
